- In order to stand out and compete within the domestic marketplace, Wexford County required an identity and proposition that communicated the county’s core offering - heritage and international culture. Concentrating on this, we developed the proposition, "So Old, So New", which marries County Wexford’s rich heritage and history with its contemporary culture.
- The identity we created is based on a Viking script to echo the heritage theme, while remaining a distinct and ownable written style that is contemporary and unique.
- Engaging and vibrant imagery focused on Wexford’s two core offerings of heritage and culture, ensuring that the key message of the identity was communicated strongly to the target audience
- Wexford’s new identity communicates what the county stands for and represents a consistent, strong brand across communications. This has enabled Wexford to attract a wider audience, expand on its former image as “the sunny southeast” and show a wider variety of offerings, in particular its heritage and culture.
