- Dunnes Stores were reopening their original Cork Store and a suitable graphic wayfinding and signage package was required.
- Working with Design2 – who designed the building and interiors – our objective was to create a signage package that built on the successes of previous stores and improved the wayfinding and experience for customers across four floors.
- Our process involved analysing the store layout, traffic flows, key locations and sign opportunities.
- We also reviewed all graphics/signage completed to date and recommended improvements in the typography and colour palette to ensure a simplified and clear signage hierarchy that customers would be able to follow.
- The design and language of the signs were simplified to be clearer but also to communicate value proposition of the store. Colour was minimal to allow the product to be prominent and and support the brand identity.
- We delivered a signage package over 4 floors that included food, café and textiles and exterior.
